Only 500 bottles produced\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNotes on the Winemaker: On the eastern side of Mount Etna, 800m above sea level, Gloria di Paola farms 3 hectares of vines. This is one of the most beautiful vineyard locations I have ever visited, with the snowy peak of Etna visible above us and the gleaming Mediterranean sea below. The vines were planted in 1992, two years before Gloria was born and the grapes were previously sold to the co-op until she decided to make her own wine in 2019.
