Winemaking: Organic Trousseau grapes grown on limestone and clay soils were harvested by hand. 3 week maceration in stainless steel tanks and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in tank before bottling with no filtration, fining or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Medium bodied red wine with fresh acidity and a lovely complexity of fruit, spice and earthiness. Precise but with a new subtle funky element. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Jean-Baptiste Menigoz is a natural winemaker in the village of Arbois. He works alongside Florien Kleine Snuverink, farming 7 hectares of vines spread across the Arbois and Côtes du Jura appellations. Like many winemakers, the simple mission is to make wines they enjoy drinking.
