Winemaking: Organic Chenin Blanc grapes were hand harvested and underwent fermentation with indigenous yeast. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine:  Very serious Chenin from a blend of 4 plots. Deep and precise, this a bottle that you should take your time over. Best served with food. Definitely an age-worthy wine.

Notes on the Winemaker: 

Mai & Kenji Hodgson work 4 hectares of vines in Rablay-Sur-Layon. They met in Vancouver before studying winemaking in Japan, eventually settling in this area of the Loire valley. Their wines are impeccably made without any additions yet there is even more potential over the coming years.
